El joven defensa de 21 años fue jugador más destacado del filial la pasada temporada en continuidad y rendimiento junto a Gonzalo y Víctor Muñoz. Fue innegociable para Raúl de principio a fin y uno de los castillistas que tuvo más ofertas para salir. Pero Arbeloa lo consideraba importante en su proyecto y fue uno de los pocos a los que no abrió la puerta. Al mismo tiempo, el club reforzó su apuesta por él y le revisó el contrato.

Su promoción al primer filial llegó tras un año de transición en el Real Madrid C, donde también fue una pieza clave de Pau Quesada en el ascenso del segundo filial blanco a Segunda RFEF.
Al lateral, que venía de ser ‘titularísimo’ en el Juvenil A de los Nico Paz, Gonzalo, César Palacios, Manuel Ángel, Chema, Pol Fortuny y compañía, que arrasó en el fútbol nacional ganando el triplete Liga, Copa y Copa de Campeones sin perder un solo partido, le supo a poco su paso al Madrid C, mientras otros de sus compañeros subían directamente al Castilla. Sin embargo, supo gestionar su frustración inicial y aprovechó la temporada en Tercera RFEF para disfrutar de una cantidad de minutos y de partidos que lo catapultaron en el verano de 2024 al Castilla. Tras con la confianza de Ancelotti, ahora tiene la de Xabi Alonso.
