Prince William is letting the world see a more vulnerable side. In a new clip from Apple TV+’s The Reluctant Traveler, the Prince of Walesopens up to actor Eugene Levy about how much he misses his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

The conversation took place inside Windsor Castle, where the Queen spent much of her final years before her passing in September 2022. Levy asked William directly if he missed her. The 43-year-old royal didn’t hesitate: “I do actually, yeah. I do miss my grandmother and my grandfather.” He was also referring to Prince Philip, who died in April 2021.

The unexpected gesture of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry that few noticed

For William, Windsor carries her presence everywhere. “For me, Windsor is her,” he said. “She loved it here; she spent most of her time here.” He explained that showing Levy around the historic castle was his way of honoring how she would have wanted it seen.

Remembering Windsor Without the Queen

The prince went on to share that the changes since her death have been difficult to process. “It’s been quite a change,” he admitted, reflecting on how the horses, the grounds, and the traditions still remind him of her.

William and Kate Middleton moved their family to Windsor in 2022, just before the Queen’s death. The couple and their three children are now preparing to settle into their “forever home” nearby, keeping close ties to the place most associated with her.

But grief is only part of his story. In another segment of the episode, William revealed how challenging the last two years have been. With both King Charles and Princess Kate facing health issues, he described 2023-2024 as “the hardest year I’ve ever had.” He added, “Life is sent to test us, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are.”

The candid remarks show a future king balancing personal loss with public duty – and remind viewers that even royals feel the weight of change.

Oklahoma is one victory from the College Football Playoff and, potentially, a home game in the first round. The No. 8 Sooners moved to 9-2 overall with a 17-6 win over No. 22 Missouri on Saturday. After Missouri looked like the far better team for much of the first half, OU flipped the game with an 87-yard catch-and-run TD by receiver Isaiah Sategna III for a 7-3 lead.Less than five minutes later, the Sooners led 14-3 after a short field set up an eight-yard TD catch by Javonnie Gibson.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe second half was, to put it nicely, a slog, though Mizzou had a chance to make it a game late in the fourth quarter before a potential fourth-down TD pass from QB Beau Pribula to WR Kevin Coleman fell incomplete. That slog is a big reason why Oklahoma may be a playoff-caliber team […]
