Deion Sanders cannot lift the Colorado Buffaloes

The Colorado Buffaloes, coached by Deion Sanders, cannot find a way to recover. The team continues to collect losses, and at this point, there is no light at the end of the tunnel. They have now suffered their second consecutive defeat, showing no reaction. Faced with this scenario, Deion feels frustrated, upset, desperate, and distressed, already working on how to provide a way out of this painful and disheartening situation.

In the post-game press conference following their 35-21 loss to TCU, Sanders delivered a striking comment to describe what the Buffaloes are going through right now.

College Football week 6 best games includes Texas, Alabama and Miami

Where are flies coming from? Are we that stinking that flies are flying around like buzzards with helmets on? Jesus.

Painful mistakes from the Buffaloes

For Sanders, building a 14-point lead only to see it erased is both heartbreaking and infuriating. What makes it even more difficult to accept is that Colorado has experienced the same collapse in back-to-back games, taking early advantages but failing to maintain them.

On top of that, there are the costly mistakes by his quarterback, who, in the final stretch of games, repeatedly gives the opponent opportunities to snatch the win. After last night’s defeat, Colorado now sits at 2-4 overall and has yet to claim a single victory in Big 12 play, where their record is 0-3.

A disaster named Kaidon Salter. The quarterback, who arrived from Liberty with high expectations, has failed to show flashes of talent. Instead, the opposite has been true. Salter was intercepted three times in the game. While he did manage two touchdown passes and added another score on the ground, his efforts were insufficient to guide his team to victory.

The numbers are brutal. In the second half, out of five possessions, four ended in three-and-outs, forcing punts. Facing a major Big 12 program under those conditions is practically impossible.

The Buffaloes paid dearly for that inefficiency. Another painful defeat now weighs on Deion Sanders’ squad.

We seem like we faint instead of overcoming that adversity.

Sanders said.

What comes next for Colorado and Deion Sanders

This coming Monday, Colorado’s head coach has a medical appointment regarding blood clots in his leg. On Saturday, he admitted to feeling pain, raising concerns considering the string of health issues he has endured in recent years.

As for the Buffaloes, their next matchup is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, against Iowa, ranked No. 12 in the nation. The forecast offers little encouragement for Sanders and his team. Yet football is unpredictable, and as Sanders himself has often said, anything can happen once the ball is in play.
