Serbian Novak Djokovic, who came off badly from his duel with Italian Jannik Sinner, with whom he lost 6-4, 6-1 to miss out on the final of the Six Kings Slam exhibition tournament, stressed that staying in the competition “is always worth it” but that it is not pleasant when “someone kicks you in the ass”, like the one he suffered against the Italian.
I have the body that I have. I am grateful for everything God has given me in life

“The love for the game and the passion for tennis is there. It’s never nice when someone kicks your ass like that on the court,” said the 24-time Grand Slam winner.
Djokovic: “I know it’s getting harder and harder to beat Sinner and Alcaraz”
The 38-year-old, ranked fifth in the ATP rankings, nevertheless valued holding his own against players such as Carlos Alcaraz or Sinner. “It’s amazing that I can still play at a high level. To be among the top five or ten… it’s a good feeling. I’m giving my best.”
I wish someone could swap a younger body for me. Just for a year so I could try to beat them. That would be nice. All jokes aside, I still have the motivation
Novak Djokovic
“I have the body that I have. I’m grateful for everything God has given me in life. It’s been an incredible experience. There’s been a lot to celebrate,” Djokovic added.
“I would like someone to swap a younger body for me. Just for a year so I can try to beat them. That would be nice. Joking aside, I still have the motivation. I know it’s getting harder and harder for me to beat Jannik and Carlos. I’m going to keep challenging them until I get it,” said the Serb.
“I’m sorry they couldn’t see a longer match,” said the Belgrade player immediately after losing. “It’s his (Sinner’s) fault. He was hitting the ball from all angles. I was just trying to hold on.”

NFL Week 7 winners and losers: Chiefs, Eagles rediscover offensive juice as Dolphins, Jets sink to new lows
Another Sunday, another full slate of NFL action nearly in the books. And Week 7 has had no shortage of major storylines so far: After Joe Flacco and the Cincinnati Bengals outdueled Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers to kick off this week's schedule, a couple of other surprising teams stole the spotlight, including the Cleveland Browns against the sinking Miami Dolphins. Some results were fairly predictable, like Mike Vrabel leading a decisive win over his old team, the Tennessee Titans, thanks to another crisp performance from quarterback Drake Maye. Others were a bit more eye-opening, like the Los Angeles Rams laying waste to the Jacksonville Jaguars overseas, despite the latter entering the international contest with a promising 4-2 record. And then there were the literal no-contest matchups, like the Kansas City Chiefs blanking the rival Las Vegas Raiders in a […]

Chicago Bears defense puts on a show against Saints: ‘It was pretty special’
CHICAGO — On Ben Johnson’s first day as Chicago Bears head coach, he said something indicative of a change at Halas Hall.“It’s clear that modern football in the NFL is quarterback-driven,” Johnson said in January. “That is no secret. You can look at analytics right now, quarterback success is a higher predictor of winning and losing than turnover ratio, which has been for 20 plus years.”AdvertisementThat might be true league-wide, by the slimmest of margins, but for the third win in a row during this four-game win streak, the Bears defense was a bigger story than the quarterback.Lovie Smith must be proud.Johnson isn’t changing the calculus to winning in one season. He doesn’t care how, though. He wants to win. So his theory on quarterback EPA over turnover differential may have to wait a bit before making its way to […]
