Xabi Alonso: “Nosotros estamos en contra del partido de Miami porque adultera la competición”

Xabi Alonso compareció en rueda de prensa en la previa del Getafe-Real Madrid, correspondiente a la novena jornada de Liga, que se disputará en el Coliseum (domingo, 21:00 h; Orange TV, Movistar LaLiga y Movistar Plus+). Y el mensaje fue claro, el Madrid está totalmente en contra del partido entre Villarreal y Barcelona en Miami: “No ha habido unanimidad ni consulta para que se juegue en un campo neutral. Las protestas son positivas porque ese sentir lo tienen muchos clubes”, aseguró.

Regreso del parón

“Todos los que fueron con la selección, a excepción de Dean (Huijsen), que tuvo que volver antes, han vuelto bien. Tanto ayer como hoy han podido entrenar. Getafe siempre es una salida exigente, es un equipo muy competitivo, con un entrenador que sabe sacar lo mejor de su equipo y sabe trabajarlo y siempre es un partido muy exigente allí”

Partido en Miami

“Mi opinión es la misma que cuando me preguntasteis hace dos meses. Estamos en contra del partido porque adultera la competición. No ha habido unanimidad ni consulta para que se juegue en un campo neutral. Las protestas son positivas porque ese sentir lo tienen muchos clubes. Las decisiones que haya que tomar para que no suceda tocan a otra gente pero nuestra opinión es la misma”

“En todo vestuario que haya un respeto es fundamental que haya disciplina. Tenemos una dinámica del día a día y es importante porque tenemos un calendario y hay que respetarlo. Y luego está el régimen interno, por supuesto”

“Tiene una gran capacidad de anticipación, mucho poderío en los duelos y cuanto más eficaz y mejor sepa utilizarlos, será mejor jugador. En lo que ha tenido que jugar, ha dado un buen nivel y es muy fiable. Tiene esa flexibilidad, puede jugar de central derecho, le veo con muy buenas cualidades. Es competitivo, tiene el gen que tienen los jugadores de la Fabrica. Tiene margen de mejora. Es un jugador fiable y que está disponible”
