A crítica mais pesada recaiu sobre o lance que originou o segundo gol tricolor. Rossi tentou dominar uma bola recuada por João Victor, mas perdeu o controle. Serna aproveitou o vacilo ainda aos 33 minutos e ampliou o placar. Para Mauro Cezar, o goleiro tinha opções simples. Bastava chutar ou deixar a bola sair pela linha de fundo. A tentativa de controle, segundo ele, foi vista como irresponsável.
“Foi uma atuação muito ruim. Uma atuação constrangedora, principalmente no primeiro tempo. Mais uma vez, a irresponsabilidade do Rossi levando à derrota.”, disse o comentarista.
Mauro Cezar ainda falou que o goleiro poderia ter tentado outras soluções no lance do segundo gol. “O que ele fez hoje é imperdoável. É verdade, que o João Victor estava muito nervoso, errando, recuou a bola meio que na fogueira, mas pelo amor de Deus, o Rossi tinha duas opções, dar um chutão ou deixar a bola sair para escanteio. Mas não, tentou dominar, e o Serna veio e fez o gol. Irresponsável. Essa derrota vai muito na conta dele”, complementou.
O comentarista classificou o primeiro tempo do Flamengo como constrangedor. Para ele, o time desperdiçou a chance de abrir vantagem na liderança do Brasileirão. O Palmeiras havia empatado com o Vitória e o cenário era favorável. A derrota, porém, manteve a diferença em apenas dois pontos.
Além de Rossi, Mauro Cezar questionou decisões de Filipe Luís. O comentarista sugeriu que o time repetiu erros recentes e não demonstrou segurança na construção de jogadas. Ele avaliou que o Flamengo deixou o rival confortável e não conseguiu reagir com intensidade após os golpes do primeiro tempo.
Rossi assume falha e pede reação
Logo após a partida, o goleiro falou ao Premiere. Ele reconheceu o erro e lamentou o impacto do lance. Rossi afirmou que entende a frustração da torcida. Mesmo assim, destacou que o Flamengo segue líder e precisa vencer no sábado, contra o Bragantino, no Maracanã, para manter o controle da disputa pelo título.
“Primeiramente, obviamente, ninguém gosta de perder. Primeiramente isso, sabemos que tínhamos uma oportunidade muito importante para checar a nossa diferença na liderança. Lamentavelmente, a gente não conseguiu vencer. É isso, é importante, obviamente, quando um jogador erra, todo mundo ir para cima para tentar resolver o erro. Acontece muitas vezes quando outros jogadores cercam, todo mundo sai para salvar o nosso companheiro”, disse o goleiro após a partida.
Pressão por resposta imediata
Com quatro rodadas restantes, o Flamengo entra na reta final sem margem para novos vacilos. A derrota no Fla-Flu levantou alertas internos e aumentou a pressão sobre o grupo. O jogo contra o Bragantino virou decisão para manter o clube firme na briga pelo troféu, enquanto o Palmeiras segue próximo na tabela.
