Diego Osvaldo Arriaga is a 21-year-old midfielder from Club America’s youth academy. The youngster, who wears the number 186 shirt, has already been called up by Andre Jardine for the matches against Puebla, Mazatlan and Leon, although he did not play in any of them.
The young player has already played with Club America in the first team, in a friendly match against Puebla. The young midfielder scored a goal in the 76th minute to tie the game at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes, being cheered by the fans and teammates present in the stadium.

According to C4 Jimenez, a man identified as Bernabe ‘N’ (the father of the young Club America player), was arrested by agents of the Mexico State Security Secretariat and the Mexico State Attorney General’s Office, after allegedly, together with a group of criminals, stealing a truck transporting sporting goods belonging to the famous American company Nike.
In the journalist’s profile on the social network X (formerly Twitter), the alleged father of the Club America player can be seen guarded by agents and presented to the authorities along with other men who allegedly participated in the alleged robbery.
So far, Diego Osvaldo Arriaga has not spoken out on social media or by the club regarding the information revealed by the journalist. This is information in process and it is possible that in the coming hours more details will be given of what happened.
