Žabiny s Lublinem odehrály vyrovnanou první čtvrtinu (17:17), ale druhou prohrály 9:33 a bylo po zápase. Polský celek poté výhru ještě zvýraznil a české vicemistryně nakonec prohrály o 41 bodů.
„Dnes jsme propadli úplně všude. První čtvrtina byla z pohledu Žabin ještě hratelná, zbytek utkání byl už ale velmi špatný. Nebyli jsme schopni se vypořádat s fyzickou hrou, o které jsme ale věděli,“ uvedl v tiskové zprávě asistent trenéra Žabin Michal Martišek.
Nejlepší střelkyní zápasu byla hostující Dragana Stankovičová s 20 body a osmi doskoky. Za Žabiny dala Kennedy Brownová 11 bodů, Shante Evansová přidala 10 bodů a 9 doskoků.
Královo Pole v první půli prohrávalo až o 13 bodů, ale postupně ztrátu smazalo a ve třetí části se dokonce dostalo do vedení o tři body. Mechelen ale skóre okamžitě otočil a další drama nedovolil.
Největší zásluhu na tom měla dvojice Američanek Kennedy Toddová-Williamsová a Javyn Nicholsonová, které zaznamenaly 23 a 22 bodů. Obě navíc přidaly i devět asistencí. V domácím dresu dala 15 bodů Kateřina Galíčková.
