O jeho důležitosti pro současný Slovan vypovídá moment z minulého týdne na pražské Dukle. Liberecký kouč Radoslav Kováč si neoddychl pouze díky vyrovnání na 1:1 v poslední minutě. Úlevu přinesl i fakt, že Ange N’Guessan se vyhnul čtvrté žluté kartě znamenající stopku v dalším duelu. „Zaplať pánbůh za to,“ klepal si do zubů trenér. Spolehlivého stopera tak bude mít k dispozici i v neděli (18.30) na hřišti Sparty.

„Jsem za to hrozně rád. Před Duklou jsem na hrozbu čtvrté žluté karty pořád myslel a přiznám se, že to nebylo jednoduché. Nechtěl jsem oslabit tým před důležitým zápasem, ale zvládl jsem to,“ ulevilo se i Ange N’Guessanovi, jenž pod Ještědem na podzim zažívá strmý vzestup.

U Nisy nyní hraje jen díky shodě více okolností. „Angeho jsme objevili tak, že jsme skauting rozšířili o Slovinsko. Tam jsme na nějakém stadionu, kam chodí tak čtyři sta lidí, narazili na random dvacetiletého borce z FC Turín,“ prohlásil s jistou nadsázkou majitel Liberce Ondřej Kania před dvěma měsíci pro podcast KBZ.

Jenže na konci listopadu prestižní deník L’Équipe zařadil „no name“ obránce do nejlepší jedenáctky víkendu složené z francouzských fotbalistů hrajících v zahraničí. N’Guessanův podíl na hodnotě této sestavy činil podle cen specializovaného webu transfermarkt.com tři desetiny procenta…

„Samotného mě překvapilo, když jsem viděl své jméno vedle takových hráčů jako Upamecano, Olise či Fofana. Česká liga je sice kvalitní soutěž, ale zdaleka není v Evropě nejlepší. Takže jsem z toho měl velkou radost. Byl to pro mě celkem emotivní okamžik a myslím, že celá má rodina na mě byla hrdá. Je vidět, že přestup do Liberce byl dobrým krokem,“ poznamenal rodák z Paříže s kořeny v Pobřeží slonoviny.

K fotbalu ho přivedl v šesti letech táta. Přes US Créteil-Lusitanos se jako třináctiletý dostal do Lens, poté FC Turín, kde poznal českého reprezentanta a současného hráče Slavie Davida Zimu. „Je velmi dobrý hráč, skromný a tichý, ale v kontaktu teď nejsme,“ poznamenal 22letý stoper, který Turín opustil půl roku po Zimovi. Minulou sezonu strávil na hostování ve slovinském NK Bravo.

„Byla to tak trochu shoda okolností, když jsme se rozhodli rozšířit skauting o další teritorium a v podstatě hned v prvním zápase nás velmi rychle zaujal. V tomto ohledu jde opravdu o specifický případ, protože většinou hráče sledujeme mnohem déle. Ovšem tady jsme měli téměř jasno v podstatě hned,“ prozradil generální ředitel Liberce Jan Nezmar.

N’Guessan k Nise dorazil na konci července nejprve na hostování s opcí, které však Severočeši už po čtyřech zápasech proměnili v přestup. „Vnímám to jako velkou prozřetelnost, že jsme na konci přestupního období využili příležitost, nabídli Italům peníze hned a povedlo se to tak zrealizovat. Mám takový pocit, že kdybychom to nechávali až do léta, opci už by se nemuselo povést uplatnit,“ připustil Nezmar.

Svými výkony zaujal. Liberec tím trefil jackpot, byť generální ředitel Slovanu se podobným označením brání. „Někdy se to ale stává. Byl ve velkém klubu jako kmenový hráč a tam prostě někdy i takhle zajímaví hráči příležitost nedostanou,“ konstatoval Nezmar. Ondřej Kania na konci října přiznal, že za méně než 5 milionů eur (cca 120 milionů korun) by ho již neprodal. Znamenalo by to, že se jeho cena podle odhadu Sport.cz během několika měsíců znásobila více než pětkrát.

„Nebyl jsem si samozřejmě na sto procent jistý, že uspěju takhle rychle, ale věděl jsem, že na hřišti nechám úplně všechno,“ řekl N’Guessan. Za modrobílé zatím odehrál 16 zápasů a Liberec s ním v sestavě inkasoval 11 gólů.

„Hodně důležitý je pro mě brankář Tomáš Koubek, který mi na začátku dost pomohl a velmi přispěl k mé adaptaci v Liberci. Je pro mě vždycky lepší mít na hřišti někoho, kdo umí francouzsky,“ podotkl N’Guessan. Mateřštinou se v týmu dohovoří právě jen s Koubkem, který působil v Rennes. Anglicky se teprve učí. „Ale jazyková bariéra zase tak velkým problémem nebyla. V zahraničí už působím dlouho, takže ani jsem neměl s adaptací velký problém,“ dodal N’Guessan, který na severu Čech žije se svou přítelkyní z Francie.

Pochvaluje si i kouče Radoslava Kováče, který hrál na stejném postu. „Dává mi opravdu hodně. Vždy se snažíme na hřišti najít to nejlepší řešení a myslím, že jsem se díky tomu v Liberci hodně zlepšil v obranné taktice,“ vysvětlil N’Guessan.

Jednou by rád přestoupil buď do Realu Madrid nebo Olympique Marseille. „Tyhle kluby mám nejraději a doufám, že za jeden z nich budu někdy hrát, ale k tomu vede ještě dlouhá cesta. Teď jsem šťastný v Liberci a nemám ambici se hned posouvat někam dál,“ pověděl.

Jak je tedy pravděpodobné, že ho Liberec udrží i pro jarní část, kdy ho pravděpodobně čeká boj o evropské poháry? „V této chvíli jen řeknu, že si vůbec neumím představit, že by v zimě Ange odcházel. Ta nabídka by musela být opravdu astronomická. Vzhledem k jeho roli v rámci celého týmu, jeho kvalitám a našim sportovním plánům by nabídka musela být úplně odstřelená, abychom o tom přemýšleli,“ uzavřel Nezmar.
