Auch dank eines starken Constantin Möstl. Der Torwart kam am Ende auf zehn Paraden. „Wir haben es trocken runtergespielt, wie man so schön sagt“, so der österreichische Nationalkeeper zu SPORTBILD.

Die unfassbare Saison (Lemgo ist Tabellen-Dritter) wurde somit um ein weiteres Kapitel reicher. Möstl: „Wir sind immer schon sehr stabil gewesen, haben aber von der Leistung noch eins draufgesetzt. Manchmal spielen sich die vermeintlich schlechteren Mannschaften als die Top-Mannschaften in einen Flow und dann läuft das alles so von selbst. Immer gute Stimmung und dann denkst du gar nicht daran, dass es schieflaufen kann. Irgendwann wird auch mal ein Rückschlag kommen, aber solange genießen wir es.“

Doch nun ist die Halbserie vorüber – und Möstl spricht erstmals auch von Europa: „Die Liga ist schon sehr schwer, da kann alles passieren. Aber natürlich, insgeheim reden wir schon von Europa. Das Ziel können wir uns schon stecken, das haben wir uns verdient.“

Trainer Florian Kehrmann (48): „Der Einzug ins Final4 war schon ein großes Saisonziel. Entscheidend ist, dass die Mannschaft nicht satt ist, dass sie nach einem Sieg in Berlin am nächsten Morgen beim Training wieder voll fokussiert ist. Sie pushen sich gerade gegenseitig, jeder will seinen Teil dazu beitragen. Keiner wird Höhenflüge bekommen und das wollen wir am liebsten bis zum 34. Spieltag so fortführen.“
