In an effort to keep that momentum going, the network is bringing some serious star power to the booth. On Monday, January 5, rap legend Snoop Dogg will make his debut as a game analyst for the Los Angeles Clippers versus Golden State Warriors matchup. Snoop will join Terry Gannon and Naismith Hall of Famer Reggie Miller during the second half of the game on Peacock.
As a Los Angeles native and a lifelong basketball fan, the opportunity isn’t lost on the hip-hop icon. “This is a dream come true for me,” Snoop Dogg shared ahead of the announcement. The broadcast should provide an interesting contrast in energy. While Stephen Curry and the Warriors are currently grinding through the middle of a crowded Western Conference, the Clippers have struggled significantly, sitting near the bottom of the standings with just seven wins.
