Conversas esfriam e volante Paulinho está de saída do Vasco

A história do volante Paulinho no Vasco poderia virar um livro. Isso porque o volante deve encerrar a sua passagem pelo Clube da Colina no próximo dia 31 sem chegar ao status que a torcida previu em sua chegada. Com mercado no Oriente Médio e sondagens de alguns clubes da Série A, Paulinho deve acertar com um novo clube em breve. Conforme informações do site GE, Paulinho ainda não definiu o seu futuro, mas ele deve seguir longe do Cruz-Maltino.

Em 2025, Paulinho começou a temporada como titular do Vasco, naquela ocasião treinado pelo técnico Fábio Carille. No entanto, perdeu espaço com a chegada de Fernando Diniz. O meia fez apenas 27 jogos no ano, marcou um gol e deu uma assistência. Nada comparado ao melhor momento de sua trajetória no clube, em 2023.

Naquela temporada, o jogador era peça fundamental do esquema de Ramón Díaz, em uma equipe que flertou com o rebaixamento durante todo o torneio. Inclusive, seu status aumentou ainda mais quando marcou o gol da permanência na última rodada, contra o Red Bull Bragantino. Cercado de expectativas no ano seguinte, se lesionou em um jogo logo no início do ano. Voltou somente na última rodada do Brasileirão de 2024.

Depois de algumas conversas pela renovação, não houve avanço entre as partes. Assim, o destino de Paulinho pode ser o retorno ao Oriente Médio. Depois de se destacar no Al-Shabab e no Al-Fayha, clubes da Arábia Saudita, despertou o interesse do Vasco, que o contratou no meio de 2023. Agora, cresceram as sondagens de clubes da Série A, o que pode mudar os planos do volante para o seu futuro.

Outro que avalia propostas para sair é o lateral-direito Paulo Henrique. O jogador fez a melhor temporada da carreira, quando chegou à Seleção Brasileira. No entanto, na cabeça do jogador, uma transferência neste momento poderia afastá-lo da possibilidade de jogar a próxima Copa do Mundo. O Vasco observa de longe as sondagens, já que não chegou nenhuma proposta oficial.
