O Vasco anunciou, na manhã desta terça-feira, a contratação do seu segundo reforço nesta janela de transferência. Após acertar com o meia Johan Rojas, o time cruz-maltino oficializou a chegada do zagueiro Alan Saldivia, de 23 anos, que assinou contrato com o Gigante da Colina até dezembro de 2028.
– Acredito que, pessoalmente, eu via que era um time com muita história, de muito tempo. Acho que é um clube que busca formar e crescer, e que faz os jogadores crescerem. Por isso, gostei muito da ideia de poder evoluir e seguir melhorando. Acredito que esse foi um bom motivo para eu poder escolher o Vasco – disse o novo zagueiro vascaíno.
O defensor uruguaio era um sonho antigo da diretoria cruz-maltina, que já havia feito oferta ao Colo-Colo-CHI na última janela de transferências, mas sem sucesso. Na época, o Vasco acenou com uma proposta de empréstimo, que não agradou os chilenos. Agora, o clube carioca exerceu a compra de 50% dos direitos econômicos para ter o jogador.
Saldivia chega para compor o elenco para a temporada 2026. Atualmente, o Vasco tem Cuesta, Robert Renan e Lucas Freitas como opções defensivas.
Natural de Rivera, no Uruguai, Saldivia é cria das categorias de base do Defensor Sporting. Chegou ao Colo-Colo em 2022 e acumula 94 partidas nas últimas três temporadas no futebol chileno.
