2016 NFL Redraft: Rebuilding the first round based on PFF grades and data

A quarterback for the Rams: No, not Jared Goff. Los Angeles makes Dak Prescott the No. 1 overall pick in this redraft. From undrafted to first-round pick: Top slot cornerback Mike Hilton has recorded four 73.0-plus season-long PFF coverage grades and four season-long 76.0 PFF run-defense grades. He goes to the Panthers at pick No. 30. Subscribe to PFF+: Get access to player grades, PFF Premium Stats, fantasy football rankings, all of the PFF fantasy draft research tools and more! Estimated Reading Time: 13 minutes The NFL draft is a crapshoot. While NFL teams do their best to forecast which prospects will translate best to the next level, the reality is that franchises rarely get a pick exactly right.  But what would a draft look like if teams had the benefit of hindsight? PFF has world-class data for every player on […]

2026 NFL Draft: Preseason running back rankings

Jeremiyah Love is the jewel of the running back class: Love enters his first year of draft eligibility with a strong case to be RB1 in the 2026 NFL Draft. He was a key piece of Notre Dame’s 2024 national championship run, posting a stellar 91.8 rushing grade. Jaydn Ott will look to return to top form: Ott was one of college football’s most electric underclassmen at Cal, earning 90.1 and 89.5 rushing grades as a freshman and sophomore. His 2024 campaign was a step back, as he dropped to a 70.8 rushing grade after suffering an ankle injury in Week 1 that clearly limited him as he tried to play through it. 2015 NFL Redraft: Rebuilding the first round based on PFF grades and data

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs goes first: There wasn’t an obvious choice at No. 1 in this redraft, but we’re giving the Buccaneers wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who originally went in the fifth round to Minnesota. Diggs has made four Pro Bowls and ranks as the sixth-most valuable wide receiver in the league since 2015, according to PFF’s wins above replacement metric. Jameis Winston to the Texans: Houston desperately needed a franchise quarterback after Matt Schaub’s decline and departure in 2013. Ryan Fitzpatrick provided a solid 2014 season but left for New York afterward. The best option in the 2015 draft was Jameis Winston, who posted a 74.1 passing grade and 112 big-time throws over five seasons as Tampa Bay’s starter. 2026 NFL Draft: The case — and concern — for LaNorris Sellers as QB1

Sellers' run-game ability pushes him to another level: He brings the size to play quarterback at the next level and the rushing ability of someone much smaller, putting him in the prospect tier of guys like Josh Allen, Cam Newton and Anthony Richardson. SEC defenses won't make it easy for Sellers in 2025: Sellers’ average time to throw is higher than it needs to be, at 3.30 seconds. He also put the ball in harm’s way too much last season, often from misreading where a safety was or how a defense was rotating its coverages. 2026 NFL Draft: Oklahoma’s R Mason Thomas is an early scouting standout

A slow start gave way to solid production: Thomas recorded just one pressure through his first two games in 2024, before putting it all together and logging 33 pressures the rest of the way. Thomas' measurables don't limit his versatility: His 6-foot-2, 250-pound frame may seem like it would pigeonhole him into a stand-up outside linebacker role, but he also produces with his hand in the dirt pre-snap. Subscribe to PFF+: Get access to player grades, PFF Premium Stats, fantasy football rankings, all of the PFF fantasy draft research tools and more! Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes As I’ve begun mapping out prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft, my film schedule has led me to the edge rushers. I would categorize it as one of the three to five most valuable positions in the game (the others being quarterback and offensive […]

Jalen Ramsey trade signals Miami Dolphins are focusing finacial flexibility and 2027 NFL Draft

Follow the money: The Miami Dolphins trading Jalen Ramsey is much more about financial freedom than it is about getting better for 2025. Jonnu Smith‘s days in Miami were numbered: Trading the talented tight end after a career year signals he wasn’t part of the team's long-term plan. For months, it had been reported that Ramsey, who […]

2026 NFL Draft: Denzel Boston is the next NFL WR from the Washington pipeline

Boston is set to become Washington's latest top wide receiver draft pick: Following in Rome Odunze's and Ja'Lynn Polk's footsteps, Boston is on track to be a top-100 selection in the 2026 NFL Draft. Rebounding from a quiet end to 2024: Among the few negatives on Boston's profile is his lackluster production to cap the 2024 campaign after a hot start. How he responds in 2025 will be something to watch. Subscribe to PFF+: Get access to player grades, PFF Premium Stats, fantasy football rankings, all of the PFF fantasy draft research tools and more! Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes The Washington Huskies football program had its fingerprints all over the 2024 NFL Draft.
