Denver survives Jokic’s worst game and beats NBA leader in overtime
When the Western Conference semifinal series between the Thunder, the best team in the NBA in the regular season (68-14) and the Nuggets, began, all eyes were on the duel between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic, the two leading candidates for MVP. What no one expected was that both would fail on the same day. They did so in the third game of the series, in which Denver survived its star's bad night and won 113-104 in overtime against the Thunder.In a game of maximum equality, the Nuggets held on in the final minutes in which the Oklahoma star wanted to resolve on his own and was hasty.
