View Comments Digboi: PGTI Ranking leader Yuvraj Sandhu announced his return to one of his favourite venues, the Digboi Golf Links, with a classy seven-under 65 to take a two-shot lead in round one of the INR 1 crore IndianOil SERVO Masters 2025. Yuvraj, a two-time winner of the IndianOil SERVO Masters (2021 & 2022), mixed eight birdies and a bogey in his opening round of 67 at the venue where he won his first PGTI title back in 2021. Five golfers were bunched in tied second place with scores of 67. This lot included former champion Veer Ahlawat (2019), twenty-year-old Anshul Kabthiyal, Shivendra Singh Sisodia, Yuvraj Singh and Bangladeshi Md Somrat Sikdar. View Comments Chandigarh: Local lad Akshay Sharma returned a two-under 70 to join Manu Gandas in the clubhouse lead on day two of the inaugural Trident Open, an INR 1 crore event, being played at the Chandigarh Golf Club. Akshay (69-70) totalled five-under 139 after 36 holes to lead the field along with Manu (66-73). The second round could not be completed on Wednesday as play was suspended due to fading light at 5:40 pm local time. Seven players out of a total of 123 are yet to finish their second round. They will resume play at 6:50 am on Thursday. View Comments Chandigarh: Manu Gandas struck a six-under 66 to take the clubhouse lead on day one of the inaugural Trident Open, an INR 1 crore event, being played at the Chandigarh Golf Club. The seasoned Shamim Khan, winner of PGTI’s last event Shaurya Bhattacharya and Bangladesh’s Md Somrat Sikdar were all tied for second place at four-under 68. The first round could not be completed on Tuesday as play was suspended due to fading light at 5:30 pm local time. Twelve players out of a total of 126 were not able to finish their first round on Tuesday. They will resume play at 6:40 am on Wednesday. Englishman Tommy Fleetwood seals title with super 65 in final round of inaugural DP World India Championship

View Comments New Delhi: Tommy Fleetwood ran up four birdies in a row in the middle of the round to take a decisive lead and then never looked back to take home the inaugural DP World India Championship at the Delhi Golf Club, which was teeming with fans on either side of the fairways. Fleetwood walked onto the 18th green with a two-shot lead and could afford to miss a birdie and still win by two. Fleetwood finished at 22-under as Keita Nakajima, whose record in India has been fantastic with one win and two seconds in three starts, carded 69 and finished 20-under.
