Buffalo Bills’ Maxwell Hairston accused of sexual assault in new lawsuit
Buffalo Bills cornerback Maxwell Hairston, the team's first-round pick in this year's NFL Draft, is at the center of a civil lawsuit alleging sexual assault during his time at the University of Kentucky.The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Fayette County, Kentucky, was brought by Ohio resident Rebecca Hendryx, who says the assault happened in March 2021-when both she and Hairston were freshmen living in the same campus dorm. She claims Hairston entered her room uninvited, ignored her repeated rejections, and sexually assaulted her.Hairston has not been criminally charged.
