Phillips joins Sheffield Utd on loan

Kalvin Phillips has completed a loan move from Manchester City to Sheffield United for the rest of the season.The midfielder, 30, has been limited to just seven minutes of football this season in the Carabao Cup for City. Celtic have signed striker Junior Adamu on loan until the end of the season.The Austrian international joins from Bundesliga side SC Freiburg, with an option to make the move permanent in the summer. Head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead have agreed to multi-year contract extensions to remain with the Los Angeles Rams.The team announced the extensions on Monday for McVay and Snead, who have led the Rams through one of the longest stretches of success in franchise history. Sussex to start 2026 season with 12-point deduction

Sussex will start the 2026 County Championship season with a 12-point deduction after entering an agreement with the England and Wales Cricket Board to tackle their financial problems. The county announced on Monday that they had entered into a three-year framework with the national governing body for the sport. Celtic have rejected Nottingham Forest's third bid for midfielder Arne Engels worth up to £25m.The Premier League club wanted to pay a guaranteed fee of £20m for Engels with £5m in add-ons.
